At Friends of Ballenger Run, we are committed to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of our local trails and green spaces. Our efforts include regular trail maintenance for safe and sustainable access, planting native trees to rebuild local ecosystems, and removing invasive species that threaten biodiversity. We’re cultivating a thriving food forest with fruit-bearing trees and edible plants, while also spreading wildflowers to support pollinators and create vibrant, forager-friendly landscapes. Each initiative is designed to protect the Ballenger Run reserve and reconnect our community with nature.
